Today I received the wonderful news that The Gentle Tales Tarot has been selected as a Project We Love by Kickstarter.

To be honest, the past few weeks have been an emotional roller coaster. Creating a deck is one thing. Sharing it with the world is something completely different.

There were moments when I felt excited, moments when I felt discouraged, and many moments where I questioned myself and wondered whether I was doing enough.

So receiving this badge means a lot to me. It feels like a reminder that even when progress feels slow, the work still matters.

No matter where this campaign finishes, I am incredibly proud of what we created together. Holding the sample deck in my hands for the first time was one of the happiest moments of my creative life.

I also wanted to share something personal.

After this campaign, I plan to take a creative break from launching new decks. I have many ideas, stories, and concepts that I want to explore, but I want to give myself the time to create something even more ambitious and meaningful.

Because of that, I honestly don’t know when my next project will launch. It could take many months before I return with a new deck.

For now, my focus is on making The Gentle Tales Tarot the very best it can be.

Hello everyone,

Today I wanted to share a small reading from The Gentle Tales Tarot and give you another look at the deck that so many of you have helped bring to life.

For this reading, I pulled:

✨ Eight of Swords
✨ King of Wands
✨ Four of Wands
✨ Five of Cups

The message felt surprisingly fitting for this stage of the campaign.

The Eight of Swords reminds us that sometimes we become so focused on obstacles that we forget how many possibilities still exist around us. The path forward may not always be obvious, but that doesn’t mean it isn’t there.

The King of Wands speaks about vision, determination, and believing in something before everyone else can see it. Creating a tarot deck is a little like that. It starts as an idea, a sketch, a dream, and slowly becomes something real.

The Four of Wands is a card of celebration, community, and shared milestones. Every pledge, comment, message, and share has helped make this project possible. This campaign is not just my achievement - it belongs to all of us who believe in bringing more beauty, wonder, and storytelling into the tarot world.

The Five of Cups offers an important reminder not to focus only on what isn’t perfect. There will always be challenges, delays, and things that don’t go exactly as planned. But there is also so much to be grateful for, and so much still waiting ahead.

As I hold the physical deck sample in my hands, I feel incredibly grateful for your support. Seeing The Gentle Tales Tarot become a real deck after months of work has been an emotional experience, and I can’t wait to share the finished version with all of you.

The Sample Has Arrived! 🌿✨

Hello, my friends!

I finally received the sample deck today!

And of course, the first thing I did was grab my camera and start filming. 😄

I recorded a video where I open the deck for the very first time, remove the shrink wrap, and see the finished cards together with all of you. No rehearsals, no second takes — just a genuine first reaction.

I should probably apologize in advance because I was definitely a little nervous… and my hands were sweating like crazy. 😂

I’ve added that video to the top of the campaign page so everyone can watch the moment with me.

Since Kickstarter limits video length, I also filmed a second, much longer walkthrough showing every card in the deck and uploaded it to YouTube:

And honestly?

I’m in love.

This is my very first deck with silver foil edges, and it looks absolutely magical in person.

The silver catches the light beautifully, the colors came out exactly as I hoped, the box quality is wonderful, and the artwork feels even better in print than it did on my screen.

When I started looking through the cards, I did what I always do when a project finally becomes real…

I cried. 😂

Because somehow the finished deck exceeded all of my expectations.

The box.
The colors.
The card stock.
The silver edges.
The artwork.

Everything came together even better than I imagined.

I truly can’t wait for you to hold it in your own hands.

Hello, my friends!

First of all...

We funded the project! 🎉

Thank you so much for your support, your messages, your pledges, your shares, and your excitement. Every campaign is a little emotional rollercoaster, and reaching the funding goal is always a very special moment.

But that's not the only news I have for you today.

🍄 The Secret Cards

Recently I ran a poll asking whether you'd like me to reveal the Magical Forest Find cards during the campaign.

The majority of you voted to keep them secret and discover them only when your decks arrive.

And honestly... I love that.

The mystery is part of the magic.

That said, I know some of you are very curious, so I'll try to come up with something fun for those who simply can't wait. 😉

✨ Silver Foil Edges Are Now Included

This is the biggest update.

I've never produced a deck with silver foil edges before.

Originally, silver foil edges were planned as a stretch goal. However, after spending a lot of time thinking about the project this weekend, I realized something:

I don't want to wait for this upgrade.

I want this deck to be exactly what I imagined from the beginning.

So I've made a decision.

Silver foil edges will now be included by default.

No unlock required.

Every deck will receive this upgrade regardless of future stretch goals.

Because honestly... I really want this deck to have them.

As a result, I'll be adjusting the stretch goals slightly and focusing more on the rewards and Magical Forest Find cards that make this project so unique.

 📦 About the Live Deck Review

Unfortunately, I ran into a last-minute issue with the sample shipment.

I was expecting to receive the foil-edged sample before launch, but the package was delayed and I wasn't able to film the live review video in time.

The good news is that the package is already on its way and should be in my hands very soon.

As soon as it arrives, I'll either update the campaign video or provide a separate walkthrough video where you'll be able to see the box, guidebook, card stock, silver edges, and the deck itself in real life.

I'll make sure to let everyone know as soon as it's available.

🌿 A Personal Note

Many of you have been with me through multiple projects and know my journey.

Some of you may remember my early decks that came in simple drawstring bags.

Then came my previous project with a beautiful two-piece box.

And now The Gentle Tales Tarot will come in that same premium box — plus silver foil edges.

I love seeing this growth.

Every campaign allows me to improve a little more, dream a little bigger, and create something even better than before.

And all of that is possible because of you.

First of all, thank you.

The campaign has only been live for a little over a day, and we are already very close to funding the project. Seeing so many people join this magical forest adventure means more to me than you can imagine.

Every pledge, comment, share, and message reminds me why I love creating these decks.

And now I have a question for you...

As many of you know, every deck contains a sealed Magical Forest Find card.

Right now, all of them remain hidden.

But should they?

🍄 Option 1 - Keep every card secret until the decks arrive.

🍄 Option 2 - Reveal a few cards and keep the rest a mystery.

🍄 Option 3 - Show all of them during the campaign.

Personally, I love a little mystery... but I'm curious what you think.
